Liberty Baptist Church is a people on mission with God. Located in Chelsea, Alabama, we desire to increasingly know and love the Lord Jesus Christ and to continually make Him known to all as we Exalt the Savior, Equip the Saints, and Evangelize the Sinner.

We are striving to be intentional in "kingdom" activity as we:

† Worship-To magnify our living Lord Jesus Christ as we seek intimacy with God

† Disciple-To mature believers as faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ

† Evangelize-To make known Jesus Christ as the one and only way of salvation

† Fellowship-To multiply caring relationships that encourage and strengthen

† Serve-To minister to others with the love of Christ through our spiritual gifts and financial resources

In August of 2003, printed journals were made available as a tool to be used in personal spiritual growth as we seek to "exercise yourself toward godliness" (2 Timothy 4:7) through basic spiritual disciplines. Three components in this journal encourage and equip in knowing and doing God's Will:

1) Scripture memory. The Scripture memory system is used in every age group within our church (children; youth; adults). In other words, parents, grandparents, and family members are encouraged to learn the same memory work. All Bible verses are printed in the NKJV, however you may choose to memorize from another translation.

2) Sermon notes. The Bible study journal provides 150 pages for note taking during sermons and Bible studies. The booklet helps in keeping notes together for easier preservation.

3) Prayer requests. A place is provided in the back of the Bible study journal for specific prayer requests. Many of these answered prayers will become spiritual markers for your journey with Jesus.

We have included links to the Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4, Level 5 for the scripture memory system. Our church family is currently in Level 6.
